Palmetto Hall Plantation: Old South Charm

One of the newer residential communities on Hilton Head Island, is Palmetto Hall, a private neighborhood of lush, mature landscaping, meticulously manicured golf courses and lovely homes. Located on the north end of the island, all structures within this 750-acre plantation are reminiscent of the old South. Shady verandas, soaring columns and colorful shutters are the norm. Homes within the plantation are single-family structures and border on either of Palmetto Halls’ two Championship golf courses. The plantation boasts one of the lowest ratios of homes to golf courses on the entire Island.

In addition to golf, residents enjoy full Palmetto Hall Club membership and benefits that include a full-service Low Country-style clubhouse plus a large community swimming pool, children’s playground, tennis courts and a barbecue area. There are stocked freshwater lakes for fishing, a 100+ acre nature preserve and a community recreation field. Location is key to Palmetto Hall residents. The plantation is adjacent to the Hilton Head Medical Center and Clinics campus, the Hilton Head Airport and the Hilton Head Library. The beach is one mile from the plantation and shopping facilities are nearby.

The Clubhouse - A 14,000 square-foot, members-only clubhouse is available to residents of Palmetto Hall. It includes a member’s only lounge, private dining and card rooms plus a pro shop and club dining room.
